Oxovanadium(IV) Complexes with Triazole Based Schiff Base Ligands: Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Study

Schiff bases have been synthesized by the reaction of triazole containing primary amine with aromatic carbonyl compounds. The prepared, act as ligand when these are made in contact oxovanadium (VO2+) ion. Some new mononuclear oxovanadium(IV) complexes base ligands vanadyl sulphate (VOSO4.xH2O) and analyzed different spectroscopic methods; [fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis.), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)], X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, elemental conductivity measurement. well characterized based on analytical data. electrolytic nature was determined molar conductance values. powder XRD pattern has used to determine crystal size type. were found be stable air moisture at room temperature. On basis physicochemical data, tentative geometry proposed. Antibacterial sensitivity its metal assayed vitro against bacterial pathogens viz. growth inhibitory activity also determined.
